The people behind the paradox

About us.

A small, independent team making software that doesn't quite fit any category.

Ferny Paradox started as a single repo and a frustrating Friday afternoon. We wanted to build something that didn't exist yet — and then we kept doing it. We're developers, designers, and experimenters who believe software can be more than functional. It can be surprising, meaningful, and occasionally a little absurd.

Who we are

Built on curiosity,
not convention.

Based remotely, operating globally. We're probably up too late debugging something interesting. Every project starts with a question: can you actually do that?

Open source

Everything we build,
we share.

Open source isn't a strategy — it's just the right way to work. If we figure something out, it should be free for others to learn from, use, and improve.

Principles

What drives us.

01

Interesting over perfect

A rough experiment that sparks a new idea beats a polished nothing. Ship early, iterate honestly, stay curious.

02

Open by default

If we build something useful, it should be free for others. We share our work because that's how good things grow.

03

Craft with intention

We're not in a rush. Every line of code and every interaction is worth thinking about. Doing it right is more satisfying than doing it fast.

Ideas we're exploring

We never run out of things to try. The list only grows. That's the paradox.

OSS

Open source, always

Every project we build goes public. No paywalls, no lock-in — just code you can actually learn from.
